Q - A bird has hit my window, what do I do?

Place the bird in a box (large enough so the bird has room to fully extend its wings) and put the closed box in a quiet, safe, dark place for 30-60 minutes. After this time, take the box outside and open it up. If the bird does not fly away, call a local wildlife rehabilitation centre.
