Our mission: To protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in B.C.

Q - Can I get a tax receipt for an item I bought for the BC SPCA?

Yes, if you buy items that can be used for the animals or shelter needs you can be issued a charitable tax receipt.

Please note the BC SPCA can obtain discounts and tax rebates when purchasing items, so a monetary donation can go further when purchasing items ourselves.

When you bring in your purchase please submit it with the original purchase receipt. Charitable tax receipts can only be issued if the original purchase receipt is received. The BC SPCA reserves the right not to issue receipts if proof of purchase is not provided. You will be given a temporary receipt for the cost of the products before taxes. Approximately six to eight weeks later an official charitable tax receipt will be mailed to you.
