Q - I can no longer care for my cat or dog. Can I give him/her to the BC SPCA?

Some BC SPCA branches do admit pets when an owner is no longer able to provide care for them.

However, we have limited capacity to care for homeless, injured and abused animals and kindly request that you call a BC SPCA branch near you to make an appointment before arriving at the shelter.
