THE BRITISH COLUMBIA SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS
Our mission: To protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in B.C.

Q - How much does it cost to surrender an animal?

The BC SPCA does not charge a flat provincial fee for surrenders. However, each branch asks for a surrender service fee to help pay for the costs associated with feeding, cleaning, spaying, neutering, vaccinating, and deworming the animal. Adoption fees alone do not cover these costs.
