Bob Busch has held the position of General Manager of Operations since 2004. Prior to that he held successive positions of Branch Manager for the 100 Mile House, Shuswap, and Sunshine Coast branches before being promoted to Regional Manager, Interior in 2002, based out of Kelowna. Before joining the BC SPCA, Bob was President of the Calgary Humane Society, where he first began his animal welfare career as a shelter volunteer. He is the author of eight books and over a hundred magazine articles on animals/natural history, and shares his life with two dogs, two cats, and one very spoiled horse.
