THE BRITISH COLUMBIA SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS
Our mission: To protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in B.C.
With more than 18 years of fundraising experience in the charitable sector, Rosemary is currently our Chief Development Officer.
Previously, she held leadership positions at the Royal Ontario Museum, the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation and the Vancouver Art Gallery. She began her SPCA career in 2009. Together, Rosemary and her dedicated team are raising more than $13 million annually for the animals.
Rosemary has also had a life-long commitment to helping animals in need. Having helped rescue animals as a child with her father, her passion for animals continues through her work at the SPCA and her volunteer work helping rescued elephants in Asia.
“ Philanthropy continues to be a driving force improving the lives of animals. Meeting and working with passionate animal lovers is an absolute joy. I have the best job in the world, ” she says.
Rosemary lives in Vancouver with her husband Paul and their SPCA dog, Berger.
