THE BRITISH COLUMBIA SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS
Our mission: To protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in B.C.

The BC SPCA relies on over 4,000 volunteers at our 44 locations across the province. With the assistance of our volunteers, we care for nearly 29,000 abused neglected and homeless animals every year. To join our team, please review the following information and select an application method.

We look forward to having you join our volunteer team!

Youth volunteers (under 16 years old)

Most BC SPCA volunteers must be at least 16 years old. However, some branches will accept youth under 16 years old if accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Contact your local branch to ask about their policy and make arrangements. Or check out the wonderful activities offered by our BC SPCA Kids Club!
