THE BRITISH COLUMBIA SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS
Our mission: To protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in B.C.

The BC SPCA is opposed to the keeping and breeding of exotic animals, whether it is for a private pet, roadside zoo, traveling attraction, or for the entertainment industry, this is not where these magnificent animals belong.

Captive-bred or wild-caught exotic animals can both suffer at our hands through neglect and cruelty, and many pose a public safety threat from diseases and predatory instincts. Read more about why exotic animals need to be protected and their possession prohibited.
