Advocacy Initiatives

The BC SPCA advocates on behalf of all wild and exotic animals in BC. Our initiatives involve pressing for evidence-based changes to local, provincial, and federal laws, improvements to regulations and bylaws, increasing public awareness about wildlife welfare issues, and promoting individual actions that lead to improved welfare. There are many issues that wild and exotic animals face, both in captivity and in their natural environments.
