City of Vancouver moves forward in support of pet-friendly housing

The BC SPCA is very excited to see Vancouver City Council members move towards supporting pet-friendly rental housing, which came as a result of the recent City Council Motion to “Support Renters With Pets.”


Brian Whitlock given 60 days in jail, lifetime ban for fatal attack on German shepherd

The man who pleaded guilty to a vicious attack on his two-year-old German shepherd, was sentenced today to a lifetime ban on owning animals, a 60-day jail term and three years’ probation.

Adoption Weekend finds homes for 161 animals
