Annet (aka Lolita)

Adopted: October 3, 2015

Annet is a very sweet cat, she has beautiful golden eyes and a melodic voice. She was found as a stray and rescued by the BC SPCA Abbotsford Branch in August, 2015. As Annet was only two years old when found, we knew that she would have a long life ahead of her in the perfect forever home.

Once Annet was ready for adoption, it didn’t take long before she was discovered by her new guardian and adopted right away. Annet is now known as Lolita and has had ten months to settle into her new home. Lolita's guardian has sent us this update of how they are adapting to life together.

Lolita had a rough start in life. She was found as a stray but believed to be surrendered by the previous owner.

It was a struggle for us to find the right food for Lolita as she has food allergies, however she's now finally on the right diet and doing very well.

It was Lolita’s striking copper eyes which first caught my attention when I saw her at the BC SPCA. She's very independent and doesn't like too much attention, but that doesn't stop me from loving her.

Lolita brings joy and happiness on my most depressing days, and I always look forward to coming home in order to see those beautiful eyes once more. In the short time she's been with me, Lolita has changed me as a person. I don't know who I would be without her today.

We’re so happy to hear that Lolita is settling in so well and found a diet that suits her and avoids her allergies. Thank you for giving Lolita such a wonderful second chance in life by making adoption your first option.
