Arrow and Zippy have quite the amazing story behind them as they didn’t even know each when they first arrived in the care of the BC SPCA.
They were both originally bonded with other rabbits until fate stepped in and it was love for these two! They met at the BC SPCA Victoria Branch after being surrendered by their former owners. That was before they headed over to our Kamloops Branch after which, they went to our Chilliwack location for a while. Then, they were transfered to the BC SPCA Richmond Education & Adoption Centre.
Both Arrow and Zippy were quite shy when they arrived in Richmond but now they are more than happy to sit with visitors and relax. It took some time to help them get where they are now, but with more socialization these two could turn into quite the affectionate rabbits. They are not too fond of puppies and dogs, who they seem to find a bit scary. A home without other larger animals would be best so Arrow and Zippy can live out their lives in peace.
Arrow and Zippy keep themselves busy by grooming each other, munching on veggies, playing with their toys, and hopping around to get their exercise. These two are pretty mellow and enjoy a nice brushing and petting session to keep them happy and healthy. Arrow loves to drink a lot of water to help her stay hydrated so she'll need a nice big waterbottle and dish full of water.
Arrow and Zippy have updated their passports and are now located at the BC SPCA Abbotsford Branch in hopes of finding their new home before the end of the year! They're confident that their new and lasting forever family is just waiting for the perfect moment to come by and surprise them with the gift of a warm comfy home.
