Spay/Neuter Assistance

The BC SPCA Alberni-Clayoquot Branch has funds, made available in part through a grant from PetSmart Charities® of Canada, to help spay or neuter your pet for low or no cost. In particular, all cats within Port Alberni are eligible for a discounted or free surgery. Please call (250) 723-5269 or go to the branch in person to get more information.

Community Council

Each branch elects a Community Council at its Annual General Meeting. The role of community council is to increase community support and understanding of the SPCA through coordination of activities such as fundraising, special events, volunteer development, education, fostering, promotion of adoption, etc. Download the Community Council manual (pdf).
