Garlic, a seven-year-old brown tabby mix was surrendered to the BC SPCA on September 27, 2010 because her former owner was moving to a new home without her.
She is back at the shelter after a bit of time with a foster parent who helped her recover from an upper respiratory infection.
She is happy and healthy and ready to find her new "forever home".
A bit on the chunky side, Garlic will need some low calorie food and the opportunity to move about in her new home. She loves people and co-exists peacefully with other cats. But, in her ideal world, we think she would like to be the only cat in the house.
According to her foster family, Garlic is friendly and affectionate but isn't the sort of cat who demands a great deal of attention. She would rather be sitting on the couch next to you than on your lap or under your feet.
If you like big, friendly cats then this is the girl for you! Please come by the Burnaby Shelter and visit Garlic. She’ll be the chubby one sleeping on her favorite bed.
