WHAT'S HAPPENING

Thank you to everyone who voted!

We are overwhelmed and proud to announce that the Campbell River Branch of the BC SPCA has won $10,000 thanks to the amazing participation of our supporters!

These funds have been designated to go towards our Building Fund. This fund has been created in order to help us build a new, modern BC SPCA branch in Campbell River. The new facility will be highly visible and centralized, allowing for a dramatic increase in our effectiveness and efficiency.  It will incorporate modern animal welfare features as well as a number of "green" design elements – such as water and energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.

First Credit Union & Insurance offered a prize of $10,000 to four local charities across B.C. The Campbell River BC SPCA was one of the charities selected, and thanks to your votes we won!

Please read our original news item about the contest.

For more information about this prize, and the Campbell River BC SCPA Building Fund, please contact Kathleen Embree, shelter manager at 250-286-6131.

Each year the Campbell River Branch helps hundreds of injured, abused and homeless animals. Please donate today. Your gift could save a life.
