Hours of operation

The Chilliwack Branch is an Animal Protection Centre for pets who have been rescued from abusive or neglectful homes. The centre is open to the public by appointment only due to the security issues associated with housing animals awaiting the outcome of legal proceedings.

The BC SPCA Chilliwack Branch will accept surrendered animals by appointment only, and are open to the public for adoptions on special occasions.

Community Council

Each branch elects a Community Council at its Annual General Meeting. The role of community council is to increase community support and understanding of the SPCA through coordination of activities such as fundraising, special events, volunteer development, education, fostering, promotion of adoption, etc. Learn more about Community Councils on the main BC SPCA site.

 

Join Us

The BC SPCA is always looking for passionate and motivated animal lovers to join us as a volunteer, member or employee.

Membership

You can make a difference by becoming a member or employee of our branch. Visit the Join Us section of the main BC SPCA website for more information and to download an application form.

Volunteer

Learn about you can get involved caring for animals, providing administrative support, assist with fundraising and events and for current opportunities.
