Paws was such a gorgeous sweet young kitten when he was brought to the BC SPCA Chilliwack Branch in July 2012. He was a part of an unexpected litter of kittens that were subsequently surrendered into the shelter’s care.
Paws was neutered and tattooed shortly after arriving at the Chilliwack branch before being made available for adoption. Like all kittens, he was delightful and a joy to be around.
Paws and his three siblings took a trip to a local satellite adoption centre to help maximize their chances of finding a wonderful forever home. Within days of arriving Paws met his match and has been living happily ever after since. His new mum has sent us a quick update on what a great addition Paws, now Sam, has been to their household.
Hello,
I adopted Paws from Oly's Pet Connection in July; I was in buying food for my other cat Abigail who is one when I saw 4 white kittens. Paws as he was called then came right over to my son and purred.
I checked him out and noticed his tattoo said ABIZ 311 I got goose bumps when I saw his tattoo said ABIZ since we call Abigail (Abby) he had her name written all over him.
I decided right then and there he was meant to be with us. We brought him home that day, it was love at first sight with Abby and Paws who is now called Sam.
Abby is trained to walk on leash and does volunteer work at the local seniors home with me. Sam will soon be joining her in bringing joy and comfort to everyone he meets.
He has a sweet personality and happy go lucky attitude. Everyone he meets is really taken with him, he loves children and can usually be found with my son watching him draw, play lego or helping him read.
We look forward to many adventures with him and our other cat.
Sincerely,
D'Laine
We think it’s great that D’Laine Is going to help Sam bring joy not only to her family’s life, but to many others too. We’re very thankful D’Laine and family chose to make adoption their first option and look forward to more updates in the future.
