About Bronson:
Hi, my name is Bronson.
As you can tell by my name, I am a big boy.
I came to the Comox Valley & District Branch of the BC SPCA as a stray one morning in early November.
When I came in I was very itchy. I had fleas all over me - even on my eyes. After a nice warm bath and some flea treatment, I felt better almost instantly. That night, I had a nice warm sleep.
The next day, I began my long treatment for severe skin and ear infections. After that was all finally over, I had to be neutered and have one of my nipples removed.
Now, I am ready to find my new forever home. I can be quite excitable and have lots of energy. When I go out for walk I wear a gentle leader because it helps me walk like a real gentleman.

I am learning basic obedience here at the shelter. I would love to go doggy school with my new guardian so we can get to know each other and meet new friends.
I do have some separation anxiety, but I know together we could make it work. Once I settle in after a nice walk, I love to CUDDLE and enjoy a good brushing. My ears will probably have to continue to be cleaned every now and again to avoid another infection.
I have gotten along with the other dogs I have met so far, and I love to play. I don’t seem to mind cats.... when I see them through the window.
Sometimes people judge me by my breed and not my personality. I have been told by all the staff that I am a BIG LOVE! I also LOVE licking faces!
If you have any other questions or would like to meet me, please ask the Comox Valley & District Branch staff.
Hope to see you soon!
Love, Bronson
