We love Lucy – and you will too!
Lucy is a wonderful, nine-year-old Tortoiseshell girl.
Unfortunately, Lucy was surrendered to the BC SPCA Comox Valley & District Branch in early August, 2012, following the death of her guardian. It must’ve been tough for Lucy to lose her friend, however, we all know the cure for a broken heart is love – and love is what Lucy does best.
In fact, staff say Lucy absolutely "needs to love you every chance she gets." She’ll give you the biggest hug you’ve ever had and lick your neck and face as long as you’ll let her.
If you’re looking for a cat who is always “all up in your business” and constantly looking for attention, then Lucy is the purr-fect cat for you.
Lucy also enjoys getting brushed and loves to sit on your lap while you enjoy the soothing roar of her purr. She has a bit of play left in her, but would rather be the receiver of attention from her many admirers.
In addition, Lucy has lived with other cats and seems to like a quiet atmosphere with a steady routine.
If Lucy sounds like the companion for you, please contact the BC SPCA Comox Valley & District Branch at (250) 339-7722 or comoxvalley@spca.bc.ca. To view more adoptable animals, please visit the BC SPCA Pet Search site.
