Razor came to the BC SPCA on May 30, 2009 when he was surrendered along with an older female dog named Misty. Their former owner suffered a debilitating injury and could no longer take care of these large dogs.
Razor's buddy Misty was adopted only three months later. But this old guy was a little stuck in his ways, and had problems being around other dogs, cats and children. He wouldn't even let anyone put a leash on his collar. Then, one day a staff member tried a harness on Razor, and everything changed! Razor was happy to go for walks with everyone and was a staff and volunteer favourite. One of his special characteristics, is that Razor loved his "special stuffies". Not just any stuffy... only his special ones.
After a long year and a half, the staff and volunteers were thrilled to release Razor into the care of his loving new forever family on November 10, 2010.
From the bottom of our hearts, congratulations to Razor and his loving new guardians.
