Although described as a friendly dog who loved to play with others, Annie was surrendered to the BC SPCA Kamloops Branch in January 2011, by her family. Neighbours had been complaining about how vocal Annie was when playing, she liked to bark and they seemed to find that rather irritating.
Annie was soon taken to the BC SPCA Kamloops Spay/Neuter Clinic to be spayed and tattooed so that she could soon be adopted out. Within a couple weeks Annie had already charmed her way into a new family. They have sent us a quick update on how she’s been doing.
Hi there,
It's been almost one year (in Feb) since we adopted Annie from the Kamloops SPCA, and I just wanted to send a few pictures and let you know how much she is loved! All who see her comment on what a beautiful girl she is :) She is a very loving and energetic dog. And just loves, loves, loves going to the dog park.
Thank you to all those who give of their time and love to the animals in the shelter!!! Sue
It’s great to hear how well Annie has adjusted in her new home, always such a loving happy dog that we had no doubt she would make a new family very happy. Thank you Sue and family for making adoption your first option and giving this lovely girl a second chance at the perfect life.
