Lewis came to the Kelowna Branch of the BC SPCA on April 8, 2010 after he was found homeless on the streets.
While with us, Lewis was an outstanding kennel mate and got along well with other dogs as well as quickly becoming a staff and volunteer favourite. Thankfully, he wasn't in need of our care for too long and was adopted by a lovely family from Kamloops on April 16, 2010.
Not long after he found his new forever home, his new family wrote to us to provide an update on his progress.
Jeff and Jessie adopted a 2 year old Lhasa Apso named Lewis from the Kelowna branch of the BC SPCA and took him home to Kamloops where he now resides.
Lewis doesn't know a lot about toys and had to be taught how to play with a ball (which he now loves) and gets along well with both two and four-legged friends. Lewis has separation anxiety from his last situation (as he was a stray with unknown circumstances) but as each week progresses, he is getting better and better.
We are glad to call Lewis a member of the family as he has an outstanding personality and gives you as much love as you will give him. Lewis knows 'sit' very well and will come on command when he is not distracted by smells.

Thanks to the BC SPCA, we have a new companion and Lewis has a new furever home.
Congratulations to Lewis and his new family!
