Woof! More happy dogs in B.C.

Local news

Polo and his eight siblings were rescued from a home by the Kelowna Branch of the BC SPCA in early April 2010.

His former owner was out of town and a neighbour, who had agreed to take care of the dogs, later refused to help the newborn puppies. The owner requested that BC SPCA enter his property and take the dogs into care.

Polo stood out from his brothers and sisters because of his curiosity and eagerness to smell and lick everything!

Thankfully, Polo was adopted on May 28, 2010 by a loving new family from Campbell River.  They've now named him Kimo and sent an update on his progress.

Here is Kimo! As an American Staffordshire Terrie, he is growing into such a beautiful family dog.

We could not love him anymore! He has such a great temperament and is such a loyal companion.

We just wanted to send recent pictures of Kimo at the beach, exploring and sniffing a starfish. He is growing into such a beautiful dog and we are always thankful for the joy he brings us!

Thanks again!

Congratulations to Kimo and his new family!
