Howard was picked up one night by a concerned citizen who spotted him wandering the streets. The next day the BC SPCA Maple Ridge Branch was called to have him picked up with hopes the owner would be searching for this handsome man.
Once in Maple Ridge’s care he immediately went to a local veterinarian to be given a full exam; it turned out not only was Howard underweight, but he was matted and in need of some dental work and a neuter too.
Howard received all the immediate care he required and then began his wait to see if anyone would come looking for him. When no one showed up or called looking for him Howard was made available for adoption.
A delightful Pomeranian who enjoyed cuddle time and some exercise here and there, it wasn’t surprising to anyone that Howard soon found a home and has settled in quite well as his family has reported.
Hi,
We adopted our new pet on June 12th from the Maple Ridge branch. Our new member was named Howard by the staff. He now is called Tigger and responds well to his name.
What a great little guy he is and we feel really lucky to have found him. Thanks to the great staff at your Maple Ridge facility. Thanks again, Val & George
We’re delighted to hear that Tigger is doing great in his new home and we want to sincerely thank Val and George for making adoption their first option.
