Sota was surrendered to the BC SPCA Surrey Branch on January 21, 2011 when her owners were unable to find her a new home themselves. After having a temperament test Sota was found to be very active and would require a home that could keep up with him. He was also unsure of new situations, places, and people; a very common issue when an animal is no longer with everything they ever knew.
Sota was taken to the BC SPCA Maple Ridge Branch a few days later through the Drive for Lives program in hopes he would find his forever home there. Since he wasn’t already neutered or tattooed Sota went and visited a local vet to have these routine procedures done. What a lucky guy too, only a few days after being neutered Sota had won over his new forever family and was on his way home with them.
Happy 2012 everyone!
