After a work schedule change left Alue alone for long periods of time, his family felt it was best to find him a new home where a family would have lots of time for him. Alue was surrendered to the BC SPCA Maple Ridge Branch in June 2016 in the hope of giving Alue a second chance at finding well suited guardians.
Alue is four years old and was raised in an active family with kids. He loves to play and gets on well with other dogs, but because he’s part husky, Alue loves to chase cats so we knew he would need a cat free home.
Alue loves outings in the car and makes a great jogging and hiking partner. When not exploring and adventuring, Alue loves a good cuddle on the couch and has great doggy manners overall.
Alue was discovered by his new guardians shortly after arriving to the branch in June, 2016. He was quickly adopted and taken to his new forever home. Alue is now known as Max; his guardians have sent us this update to let us know Max is getting on great:
We adopted Alue on June 27, 2016. We changed his name to Max and he seems to respond well to the new name.
Max has a wonderful personality. He loves to play, enjoys people, other dogs and long walks. He fit into the family from the first day and we haven’t encountered any problems with him.
He loved his summer on the boat. We feel very fortunate that we were able to give this wonderful boy a forever home.
Max is so lucky to have found a perfectly suited family. Thank you so much for making adoption your first choice and giving Max a second chance to live a happy, active life.
