Roxx is a four-year-old male cat who came into the care of the BC SPCA Maple Ridge Branch on February 24, 2016. He has beautiful silky black hair and a smile that’ll melt your heart.

Roxx was transferred to us in hopes of finding his perfect home. He has a condition called idiopathic cystitis which is inflammation of the bladder with no known cause. He needs a guardian who is willing to give him the care he requires and deserves. His bathroom habits need to be monitored and he may need occasional visits to the vet to ensure he’s healthy. But this guy will be well worth the effort because he has personality plus with tons of love to give!

This handsome boy requires a calm and peaceful household so his stress is kept to a minimum. He’d be best in a home with no small children but he could do okay with another well-suited cat or dog.

Did you know that black cats get adopted less often simply due to the color of their fur? So this poor guy has a double whammy against him and due to absolutely no fault of his own!

Roxx is a favourite at the shelter because he’s such a great guy. So, if you have it in your heart to provide a loving home to this sweetheart, come to the shelter and meet Roxx.

If Roxx sounds like the companion for you, please contact the BC SPCA Maple Ridge Branch at (604) 463-9511 or
