Sydney came to the BC SPCA Maple Ridge Branch as a stray, abandoned cat. It appears he was abandoned by his previous owner because he was found in a very remote area with no homes nearby and after weeks on his own he was finally contained by a good Samaritan working in the area who brought him to the shelter. Sydney was underweight and dehydrated on intake but has made a great recovery and is doing fantastic.
We have no history on Sydney but it appears he is not use to other animals and is much happier on his own. Therefore he is best suited in a home where he will be the only pet and able to be king of his castle. He is more relaxed in a calm environment, so a home with older mature kids is also best. He is a big boy with an adorable face, patiently waiting for his new family to come. Sydney spends his days in one of the staff offices perched on the desk!
