Like a fine wine, a cat like Bear Bear just gets better with age!
Bear Bear is a beautiful, black, 12-year-old guy who was surrendered by his owner at the BC SPCA Nelson Branch in June, 2012.
Granted, Bear Bear is no “spring kitten” – even better, he’s a calm, friendly guy who likes to take it easy.
In his younger years, Bear Bear has likely seen it all and done it all, but now he spends most of his time hanging out inside. His party animal days are long over, and now Bear Bear just wants a quiet night in with you.
Don’t be mistaken – Bear Bear is still on top of his game. He even loves chasing mice, but completely ignores birds (probably too much work).
Being a senior gentleman, Bear Bear is wise in kitty manners and gets along well with other cats – this “catiquette” is likely accumulated through his many years experience of being a simply superb feline.
However, Bear Bear is not a fan of dogs – perhaps they’re too much drama for this relaxed dude.
Bear Bear says it’s okay if we give you the option of a donation in lieu of adoption fees - so long as you know his love is an appreciating asset.
