Get moving with Sadie!
Sadie is a four-year-old black German Shepherd-mix who was surrendered to the BC SPCA Nelson Branch in June, 2012.
Sadie sure is a friendly, playful young girl. But don’t you worry, Sadie won’t take you for a ride – our volunteer dog walkers say she is great on a leash and listens well.
Sadie’s energy makes her a bit of a doggy fitness fanatic, so to speak; she needs an equally active family that can take her for long walks or short jogs.
She even loves being in water and will happily chase anything you throw into it. The only problem? Silly Sadie can’t swim! Just be sure to suit Sadie up in a doggy life-vest and she’ll be good to go.
Sadie prefers to be a lone wolf in a pack of people – in other words, she doesn’t do too well with other dogs. However, Sadie gets along well with cats.
If Sadie sounds like the companion for you, please contact the BC SPCA Nelson Branch at (250) 352-7178 or nelson@spca.bc.ca. To view more adoptable animals, please visit the BC SPCA Pet Search site.
