Seymour

ID: 270695

Adopted!

Share:

Seymour is a handsome two-year-old Australian cattle dog / long-haired collie cross. He was brought to the BC SPCA in August, 2012, because his previous owners were unable to work with his energy requirement.

Seymour is an extremely friendly dog who gets along with pretty much everybody. He’s also a sporty guy who enjoys lively outings and activities such as hiking.

Because Seymour is so full of life and energy, he sometimes becomes easily excited. To remind Seymour on how to remain cool and collected, he should be rewarded for calm behaviour and asked to sit before he is given treats or attention.

Seymour is highly intelligent and clever canine who loves to learn new things. However, he will require a guardian with the time and ability to teach him.

He may get anxious when left alone for too long a period of time, so he will need his new guardian to help him to practice spending time alone slowly.

If Seymour sounds like the companion for you, please contact the BC SPCA Nelson Branch at (250) 352-7178 or nelson@spca.bc.ca. To view more adoptable animals, please visit the BC SPCA Pet Search site.
