Our mission: To protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in B.C.
Mr. Fox was found at the gate of the BC SPCA North Peace Branch when someone decided to leave him there despite the fact that it was the end of October and cooling quickly. Thankfully staff discovered him before anything happened to him and brought Mr. Fox inside to care for him.
Mr. Fox had no identification and therefore his owners would not be able to be traced. He was a wonderful young cat who adjusted quite quickly to his new surroundings and was pleasant to staff and volunteers.
About six weeks after being found outside Mr. Fox had met someone who would end up being just the perfect person to take him home, it was Amy. Amy has since written us to let us know how Mr. Fox is doing and how he came about having a kitty brother too.
Mr Fox ( that was his original name) was adopted from the North Peace Spca in Fort St John on Dec 9 2011. He just recently celebrated his first birthday.
About 2 weeks after adopting him, the neighbors cat kept coming over and wanting to come in and play, so they ended up giving him to us. So now Mr. Fox has a brother named Oliver who he loves and our cat family is complete.
He really enjoys sleeping on his back, eating cat treats, and being brushed.
We think it’s great that Mr. Fox has a fun new companion to play with; sometimes two really is better than one. Thank you Amy for making adoption your first option and we’re sure Mr. Fox is happy as can be.
