Nigel is a 12-year-old senior gentleman who came into the Parksville-Qualicum Beach BC SPCA branch care as a stray on November 9, 2012—which means poor, sweet Nigel has been in BC SPCA care for more than 200 days!

How such a wonderful cat could be passed over time and time again is a bit of a mystery to Parksville SPCA staff. However, the fact that Nigel is a shy guy may have something to do with his length of stay.

Don't be fooled by Nigels initial introversion. He's a very gentle, friendly fellow who loves to be rubbed around his neck and chin and is very affectionate! Unlike his younger kitty counterparts, he has a sophisticated, well-mannered, and relaxed personality.

All in all, Nigel has so much to offer, but he's far too humble to boast about it (so we will do it for him!).

Nigel would be best suited to a quiet home where he can flourish and be pampered as the only pet.

If Nigel sounds like the companion for you, please contact the BC SPCA Parksville-Qualicum Beach & District Branch at (250) 248-3811 or To view more adoptable animals, please visit the BC SPCA Pet Search site.
