Roxy

Adopted: January 1, 2009

We adopted our dog, Roxy, from the Parksville SPCA branch in January, 2009. I work at the newspaper in Nanaimo and saw an ad the Parksville branch was going to put in the paper the next week (she was the "dog of the week"), so we went up and scooped her over the weekend.

Roxy was very underweight when we got her, but now she is happy and healthy. When we got her she was also very quiet and rarely made a sound, but now she "talks" and barks up a storm. My husband calls this Roxy getting "barky barky"!

We love her to bits and we certainly couldn't imagine our lives without her. Pretty much everyone we meet on our walks remarks on what a lovely dog she is and many people say she's "just the right size"!

Thank you for all that you do!
