Molly was a very sweet cat who loves to play and spend time with people. She was a very curious cat and her will to explore was strong. Almost a month after her adoption, her new guardian has sent in this lovely update:
We love Molly!
I took her to the vet on Monday to have her shot. She was okay, but she didn't like having her ears cleaned though. She spent the first couple of days hiding in the closets of our place, we made sure they were always open and safe for her. Gradually, she started spending more time around us and now she loves to cuddle on the couch with us.
She has used her litter box from day one, no issues with that at all. We have fed her the same dry food and treats she had at the shelter. Whenever she hears the sound of the bag opening, she runs to the kitchen and eats happily. She loves to play with some fuzzy pompoms we bought for her. The balls came with other toys, but so far those don't seem that appealing.
Thank you for to the staff and to all the volunteers at the Port Coquitlam SPCA for connecting us with Molly.
Thank you so much to Molly's new guardian for giving her the loving home she deserves. We appreciate your support of the BC SPCA and for making adoption your first option. Here's to many more years to come!
