Hours of operation
The BC SPCA Powell River & District Branch is staffed entirely with volunteers. There is no actual shelter location
and all animals available for adoption are cared for in volunteer foster
homes.
If you would like to provide a donation, become a volunteer or
foster guardian, or if you would like to adopt an animal, please call (604) 483-3506between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm or email us.

Community Council
Each branch elects a Community Council at its Annual General Meeting. The role of community council is to increase community support and understanding of the SPCA through coordination of activities such as fundraising, special events, volunteer development, education, fostering, promotion of adoption, etc. Learn more about Community Councils on the main BC SPCA site.

The BC SPCA is always looking for passionate and motivated animal lovers to join us as a volunteer, member or employee.
