Daniel Drieberg is a white, German Shepherd mix who was found homeless in Prince Rupert and brought to the local BC SPCA branch on February 27, 2009.
This small and sweet little puppy quickly found his loving new home in Chilliwack. He was adopted on May 20, 2009 and his new family now calls him Kanyon. They wrote to provide us with an update on our furry friend.
Kanyon has been a wonderful addition to our family and has brought so much love and laughter into our home.
He loves ice cubes and whenever anybody goes near the fridge he will sit and stare until you give him one.
He is also very aware of feeding times he will wake us up at 7 a.m. every morning and come and get us at 5 p.m. every evening without fail.

He is a great retriever and loves to play catch he also loves the water. But, his favourite thing by far is going out with our son AJ.
He loves to ride in his pickup. He waits at the top of the stairs for him everyday around the time he knows he will be home from work.
Kanyon is such a blessing and a joy. We are grateful and thank the staff at the SPCA in Prince Rupert for all of their help and patience they made the adoption experience a very positive one.
Based on my experience I would urge anybody interested in bringing a dog into their home to rescue one from the SPCA.
Thank you again, Susie
Congratulations to Kanyon and his new loving family!
