Bono was found wandering the streets of Chilliwack before being picked up and brought to the BC SPCA Chilliwack Branch in July 2010. He had no forms of identification so it was up to his family to come looking for him.
As time went by everyone began to realize that no one was going to claim this handsome cat, he was then booked in to be neutered and tattooed so if he ever managed to be lost again a reunion wouldn’t be far off.
With the days flying by and no one coming to visit with Bono it was decided it would be best for him to take a ride on The Drive for Lives to the BC SPCA Richmond Education & Adoption Centre Branch.
This lucky boy managed to meet his match within days of coming to Richmond and he now goes by the name Felix. His new mum has written us and let us know just what this delightful guy has been up to.
I adopted Felix in August of 2010 and he is a lovely cat! At first he was very timid and shy but he quickly overcame that. He loves his toys especially the mouse wand. Felix likes to watch hockey games, particularly the Canucks, from his chair in the living room.
It took Felix about 6 months to come on the couch and sit by me and he has just begun to sit on my lap after almost 2 years with me. Felix has always been a big fan of the bed though. When my alarm rings in the morning, I can always expect him to come up to me and make sure I am up in a timely manner.. although a few times we have fallen back asleep and I was almost late for work!
Felix likes to look out the window from his perch, run through the blinds and meow at me for treats. He is a great cat!! Lindsay and King Felix

What a fantastic life King Felix now leads, he must be so happy living with Lindsay in his forever home without a care in the world. Thank you so much to Lindsay for making adoption her first option.
