Curly was a couple of months old when she came into the care of the BC SPCA North Cariboo Branch. Her owner decided that there were too many animals in the home and surrendered her, and three other siblings, on May 11, 2011. It took a bit of time before the puppies were ready to go up for adoption, but soon it happened and Curly was eagerly awaiting her new forever family. She had been spayed, tattooed, and had a clean bill of health, she was ready.
When Curly wasn’t getting the type of interest she was looking for she came down to the BC SPCA Richmond Education & Adoption Centre through the Drive for Lives program; here she was sure she could find the perfect family for herself. Within days of coming to Richmond Curly went into foster care as a couple other puppies weren’t feeling well and it would be best to monitor Curly too just in case. Thankfully Curly was doing great and loving her round-the-clock attention she was receiving, but soon she was even happier; her forever family had come for her at long last! Her name has been changed to Febe and it looks like she’s gotten a bit bigger and even cuter if that’s possible.
Hi,
We were not able to bring Febe (formally known as Curly) out to your walk on September 11th. Here is a photo of her. She is doing great. She is such a wonderful addition to our family.
Thanks,
Karie
Thank you so much to Karie and family for making adoption your first option and for giving such a wonderful young girl a chance at happiness.
