On August 23, 2011, Inukshuck was surrendered by her owner to the BC SPCA North Cariboo Branch in Prince George. To give her a better chance for adoption, Inkshuck was transferred to the BC SPCA Richmond Education & Adoption Centre on the Drive for Lives program, with the hope that she would soon find her forever home.
Sarah and Yannick came into the Richmond Branch in November and quickly fell in love with this adorable and playful Tabby. They were very pleased with the shelter staff who went above and beyond to facilitate her adoption before the Remembrance Day holiday.
This lucky cat has settled in nicely with her new feline family: Ms. Cecily Parsley (also adopted from the BCSPCA Richmond Shelter) and Mr. Griswold. Her human guardian sent us an update and some photos, showing how well she is getting along with her new "sister and brother."

Hunca Munca and Cecily Parsley (the medium haired brown tabby) love to play together and cause a little mischief once in a while. Their brother Griswold (the grey boy) is more reserved but having the two young ones around keeps her on her toes.
Many thanks for facilitating our adoption - we couldn't be more pleased with the new addition to our cat family.
Sincerely, Sarah and Yannick
Thank you for adopting another shelter animal into your home Sarah and Yannick. In addition to a loving home, you have provided Hunca Munca with a second chance and a better life.
