Local news

Right from the beginning you could see that Moxie was full of everything her name meant; she had plenty of spunk and spirit. Even though she was barely a month old when she was surrendered the BC SPCA North Peace Branch made sure to take good care of her and her siblings in January 2012.

Soon they were brought to the BC SPCA Maple Ridge Branch and placed into loving foster homes where they could learn more about a home environment and get an early start on their potty training and obedience.

When the time was right Moxie arrived at the BC SPCA Richmond Education & Adoption Centre Branch in hopes she would find just the right home for her exuberant personality.

It didn’t take long before a family came by to visit with her. They were looking for a match for their beloved dog and found Moxie to be just who they were looking for. Since adopting they have sent us a nice update on how everyone has settled in together.

Hi,

Just thought I would send you some pictures of Khloe (Moxie) that Richard and I adopted Feb 6th. She is beautiful and has fit into our family so well.

She has a real pal in Kody who just loves her. As you can see from the pictures they are doing well together. Khloe is really living up to her original name of Moxie. She does not back down from anything and can take on Kody no problem lol. She is definitely in charge.

Thank you for letting us adopt her. She is fantastic.

Sue

What a cozy pair Khloe and Kody make, they seem to fit together just perfectly. We’re happy to hear everything has been going well and we’d like to thank Sue and Richard for choosing to make adoption their first option.
