Bubble & Squeek

Bubble and Squeek are a lovely pair of Guinea Pigs that are available for adoption at the BC SPCA Richmond Education & Adoption Centre. They were found in Surrey on October 18, 2011 and were brought into the BC SPCA Surrey Branch in hopes of finding their owners.
Sadly when they came in it was discovered that both Bubble and Squeek were a little worse for wear and required some medical attention. It turned out that they had not been eating a healthy Guinea Pig diet, so after keeping a close eye on them they were able to get back on track to being the healthiest Guinea Pigs they could be.
Bubble and Squeek were started on an unlimited Timothy Hay diet (along with their regular pellets and veggie treats) to make sure that they do not have to go through the same ordeal again.
Once they were back to proper health Bubble and Squeek were brought over to the BC SPCA Maple Ridge location to see if anyone would take an interest in them. Unfortunately Bubble and Squeek didn't hit it off with anyone right away, so they came over to the BC SPCA Richmond Education & Adoption Centre through the Drive for Lives program on November 1 to test out a new crowd.
As soon as all the volunteers and staff heard we had new Guinea Pigs in our care there was a lot of excitement. Not only have these piggies enjoyed tons of attention lavished upon them, but Squeek even managed to sweet talk his way into a fancy haircut from a staff member!
They have had a lot of playtime not only inside their Guinea Pig home, but also outside of it where they are monitored in a large pen so they can frolick and popcorn to their heart's content.
As much as everyone in Richmond adores the cute noises that these two handsome men make, it would be much preferred if they could make those sounds in their new forever home and bring smiles to the faces of their new family members.
