Adopted!

Kelsey was surrendered to the BC SPCA Abbotsford Branch in January when her owners realized they couldn’t care for her financially. She was soon brought to the BC SPCA Richmond Education & Adoption Centre Branch through the Drive for Lives program to help her find her forever home.

Sadly, Kelsey caught a URI and needed to go into foster care, but a wonderful volunteer gleefully brought her home. Kelsey used to go by the moniker “Sass”, but that didn’t suit any part of her endearing personality. After sharing a close bond in foster care Sass was renamed in her foster mum’s honour, Kelsey.

She came to the Richmond branch in February and is still looking for a home to call her own. Her gentle temperament and playful nature stole the hearts of staff and volunteers quite quickly. Kelsey is looking for a person, couple, or family that desires a young, playful, affectionate cat who requires brushing of her luxurious coat a few times a week. Could it be you?
