Adopted!

Hello! My name is Sammy and I have to be brutally honest with you about a few things: I am handsome, I am looking for my new forever home and I am a charmer.
Did I mention that I'm handsome?
I'm also a bit of a rarity. There aren't many fellow orange tabby cats here at the BC SPCA because we tend to get adopted quickly. But, for some reason I keep getting passed over. What the heck is going on? Do I have something in my teeth?
At approximately three years old, I'm truly in the prime of my life and happy to have a second chance. I was found homeless near South Sumas in Chilliwack, B.C. on May 12, 2011. Now, I'm just patiently waiting for that someone special to find me and take me home.
At times, I can be a little rambunctious but what three-year-old do you know who isn't? I'll tell you how I expend all my energy: playtime! I love playing with an assortment of toys while my people watch over me. My favourite toys are a fake mouse and a cat charmer. After I get tuckered out, I love to have someone help me settle down by showing me a lot of affection. It makes me so happy to know that I am loved.

The staff and volunteers at the BC SPCA have been caring for me for months. And as much as they love me, I know they hope I find a permanent and loving home instead of hanging around here for much longer.
Since I'm pretty active (even though you can't tell from my picture) I would do well in a home with another cat. We could help each other burn off some energy and become "besties". We could hang out inside playing with our toys and cuddling up to you all day long. Doesn't that sound like a dream come true? I know it sounds like that to me!
Just think of all the fun times we could have together. So, now that you're thinking of how much fun and love I could bring to your life, I have one more thing to ask. Please, go get your keys and start driving over to the BC SPCA Richmond Education & Adoption Centre. When you get there, fill out an adoption application form and let one of my BC SPCA friends at reception know that you have come to adopt me.
I know we'll get along really well. So, what are you waiting for?
See... told you I was a charmer.
