Stella came to us after an unsuccessful private re-homing after her original guardians went travelling overseas. She is a lovely spayed female Norwegian forest cat cross that is 8 years old. Stella is now at our BC SPCA Salt Spring Island Branch hoping to be rehomed quickly and furr-ever!
You can count on Stella to be friendly and she is also quite active for an older cat. Play with string and chase games keep her happy and engaging. Not one to be picked up, but rather, encouraged to join you at her own will and whimsy, Stella likes petting for brief periods. She will let you know when she has had enough.
Stella may not be a good candidate for a home with other cats or dogs, although young children and adults she is most calm with. Change can be very difficult for Stella, so a home that is stable and calm will be a good fit for an ever-lasting love affair with this gorgeous girl.
