Trick and all of her seven siblings were found at an Enderby flea market abandoned and scared in October 2011. They were all taken to the BC SPCA Shuswap Branch right away to be cared for. Many of these kittens needed more socialization than was available in the shelter so they were placed in a loving foster home.
All the kittens thrived in foster care, especially Trick; her true colours started to come out and she was full of beans. Very playful and the first to greet her human family when they came home, Trick loved her belly rubs, bouncy balls, back scratches, and being brushed – although what she really liked to do was attack the brush after!
After a month in foster all the kittens were ready to be spayed, neutered, and tattooed. Trick became available for adoption in late November and although it took a month to find her the best home possible, it was well worth the wait. She has been renamed Hope and her new family is delighted with their new addition and have taken the time to write us a quick note.
We have been wanting to send you some pictures of our beautiful kitten HOPE!!!! (AKA TRICK)
She absolutely loves playing with feather toys, bells, balls, feet!!!!! She is fitting into our home perfectly!!!! She loves to snuggle around the neck and then fall asleep!!!! Here are 4 pictures we have so far...we will keep in touch....
We are thrilled that Hope is thriving in her new home and enjoying the life of an adopted cat. Looking at the pictures you would never be able to tell that someone heartlessly abandoned her at a flea market. Thank you to her new family for making adoption their first option.
