Adopted!

Flica, a one year old female tabby cat, ended up in the care of the BC SPCA Shuswap Branch in August when she was found by the side of the highway in a box with four of her kittens.

She has quite a story to tell! She even made the local paper. A nice family was walking down their road when they saw a box right beside the pavement on the highway.

To their surprise, they saw a small cat jump out of it and run towards the bushes. They decided to go and check out the box and inside there were four little kittens! The kittens were rushed to the SPCA and the wonderful couple spent a few hours searching the bushes to find the mother cat. This was Flica.

Flica did an amazing job caring for her kittens while she was at the SPCA and now that they have grown up and found homes of their own, it is Flica’s turn. She is a very tiny girl for being an adult cat and will most likely not grow any larger but she makes up for her small size with a huge heart.

She loves gentle affection and has a nice soft purr. She is very easy going and enjoys watching the world go by (including kittens running past that she shares her room with).

She would make a great couch or window box warmer. She will also warm your heart when you look into her beautiful shiny eyes. This girl is a charmer and she does not have to do much! If you are looking for a new addition to your home and have a safe, indoor home, please come and meet Flica.
