Montana is a beautiful, brown tabby who is roughly four-years-old. She was brought to the BC SPCA Shuswap Branch with her litter of 3 babies on August 4 2011 after they were found living under a shipping container. Since then, all of Montana's kittens have been adopted; Montana continues to wait for her forever family.
On January 6 2012, Montana was adopted, however the change in environment was too much for her and she hid under the bed for several weeks. Her new guardian couldn’t quite cope with this and on January 20 2012 Montana was brought back to the Shuswap SPCA.
Montana enjoys the company of her feline friends. So she would be really happy to go to a home with resident felines or to find a home with one of her pals here. Montana enjoys attention, and particularly loves belly scratches; she will knead and purr so loudly you would think that a train is about to roll in!
Montana is looking for a calm, quiet, indoor only, child free home, preferably without dogs as she spooks easily. Montana is by far a staff and volunteer favorite. Her beautiful figure, amazing big round eyes, gorgeous tabby markings, her loud purring and her calm personality, make her a real catch.
Please visit the BC SPCA Shuswap Branch to meet this gorgeous cat, or email shuswap@spca.bc.ca or call 250-832-7376 for more information.
