Wigglesworth

ID: 240847

Adopted!

Mr. Wigglesworth is a five-year-old domestic longhair kitty who was found homeless near the Notch Hill area of Salmon Arm.

Thankfully, a loving family opened their hearts and home to the poor stray cat in the hopes of finding his original owners.

They checked his tattoo, called clinics and various SPCAs as well as posts ads and notices. Sadly, the tattoo couldn't be traced and no one came forward to claim him.

The Good Samaritans who rescued and cared for the lost cat already had a few felines in the home who did not get along with poor Mr. Wigglesworth. Reluctantly, the family brought him to the BC SPCA Shuswap Branch on July 16, 2010.

Since then, Mr. Wigglesworth has been settling into life in the cat communal adoption room. His favourite spot is way up high on the walking ramps where he can watch the dogs running out in the yard or spread himself out for a nap.

Staff and volunteers think this polydactyl kitty (a cat with extra toes) is an incredibly cute, big orange bundle of love.

Mr. Wigglesworth loves to chit-chat with visitors and would do really well with a guardian who loves to brush, groom and snuggle him. Wigglesworth wouldn't likely suit a home with smaller children that may pull his tail or bother him when he is napping.

We still hold out hope that someone out there is missing him. But, if his former family doesn't come forward, a responsible, calm and loving new home where he will be safe and comfortable indoors would be ideal.
