Dexter

Adopted: January 13, 2010

Scat and a friend were brought to the BC SPCA as kittens because their owners were moving. It took over 6 months for his first chance with a new family and in just over a month this chance was taken away because of his litter box pickiness. With this sort of return we thought he might become a permanent resident… Scat continued to live at the shelter for a year and so staff made big updates with pictures and honest write-ups. Who knew this would bring him a second chance so quickly? Scat's new mom and dad drove an hour to meet him, already knowing he was the one. They took him home that very day.

Scat, now known as Dexter, is doing fantastic. His new family couldn't believe this sweet, handsome, and kind soul had never gotten a second chance.

He's been in his new home for a month, and his parents don't ever want to let him go. They have actually been in contact to say that they are ready to give him a friend and give another cat a forever loving home.
